01. Cut out
The offset tile panels can be easily cut to join together similar to traditional tiles. By employing a handheld multi-tool, you can precisely remove every other tile, ensuring the panels fit together seamlessly like a jigsaw puzzle. In the absence of a handheld multi-tool, an alternative method involves drilling two holes in each corner of the tile to be cut, followed by inserting a jigsaw cutter to remove the tile. The holes in the corners provide ample space for the blade to maneuver around corners. This method ensures the panels maintain the appearance of individual tiles effectively.
02. Butt joint
The panels have a flat edge and can be simply butted up to one another with silicone in the join. However, this does result in a visible line.
03. ‘H’ trim
An ‘H’ trim can be purchased from Reco or your local DIY or Tile store. This can be fitted behind the panels to cover the join. This does however mean that it looks a little less like real tiles.
